“Litigate. Litigate quanto volete. Ma non fate finire il giorno senza aver fatto la pace.”

A fitting motto for a Catholic University, no?

Hi Tim,

Why am I not surprised? It doesn't look like either side understands the other very well.

Not to mention:
a) the disruptions the end-users had to suffer

b) the missed satisfaction of the end-user (see, for example, "Moodle as a "massive improvement" over Blackboad" https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=273744 )

c) the lack of freedom to switch to another hoster on the same platform

d) as a result, the costs of converting the content to another platform/format (assuming that "closed-source provider" hasn't locked the content!)

e) an "early termination fee" of 120 k? Was it a ransom? as if 24 USD/student p.a. wouldn't enough. And somewhere "$12 per student for five to eight weeks of access"!
