Actually, the whole site is pretty slow. I had to crash out of a login because there was no response. I suspect your hosting isn't up to scratch.

I have a server optimised for moodle with numerous sites serving from it, http://lms.ilearning.net.au/ will take you to the test moodle installation if you want to compare performance. pwd/login student/student.
