Moodle in English: Database activity: Set required fields

Is it possible to set a field as required in a database activity?

In a way that you cannot save the entry unless that field is filled in.

Hi Hugo, I know it's a bit late, but you might be still interested in solution.

If you modify the "add template" and delete some fields, these are then not displayed(eg. not required) when adding a new entry.

Use dependent menu, you can make the 'Add entry' form acts like with compulsory fields.
