Based on the progress of this Moodle Tracker (https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-44548), it seems that aliasing of SCORM files is not working.
Has anyone come up with a workaround to use in the meantime that will achieve a similar outcome? I need to have one area/repository of SCORM files that will update all iterations of those SCORM files used within multiple courses. I have tried using the "external package type" and storing the files on an outside server, as well as the "downloaded package type". Neither of these seem to automatically update when I update the files (even though I have the auto-update frequency set to "Every time it's used."
Has anyone successfully worked around this? Anyone have any good suggestions for other things to try?
