That is not possible. You will have to write some custom code for that.

It is possible to hide the front page block from students but show it to teachers but in a "roundabout" way - Please see the documentation Blocks FAQ and #4: How can I make a front page block visible to teachers but hide it from students?

This was a solicitation for me... really i don't know why Joseph.
Could you try the Block FAQ instructions on our sandbox site demo.moodle.net please ? I just tried and it worked for me hiding it from a student and showing it for a teacher.
