same course on several classes - configure visibility of resources and activities *per group*

Hi.

Several teachers will teach the same course on different classes.


In order to distinguish the classes, we have created one group for each class. Teachers have the 'teacher' or 'non-editing teacher' role. The course format is based on topics.

Is there a way to

  • control the visibility of resources or activities per group?
  • and/or to show or hide a complete topic per group?
  • control the Availability dates (Allow submissions, Due date) per group?

I read that it's also possible to set groups and conditional activities for a section, not only a single activity. Does this apply for a couse like this so that it would apply for Klokken but not for I skole?:



(This is Moodle 2.6 - it needs an upgrade, but I talk about the principle) .

yes - you can do that too - see (in the 2.6 documentation) the section on "Restricting acccess to course sections" here: https://docs.moodle.org/26/en/Conditional_activities_settings
