Hi all, we have a bizarre issue that isn't quite along the lines of whats usually asked here...
Our SEO consultants have noticed an unusual amount of traffic to our public facing website, most of which seems to be originating from the internal pages of various other sites which are running Moodle installs. We ourselves run a Moodle installation on a subdomain of our main public facing site.
My guess is that maybe our Moodle install is in some listing (linked to our public address) which appears across other Moodle installations for whatever reason; perhaps some plugin or cross-promotion facility...
We'd really like to identify and stop this source of traffic, as its playing havoc with conversion and bounce rates. Visitors from these sources typically leave our public facing site immediately.
Any ideas on what might be going on here?
