New install...don't have all the modules

Probably a really stupid question (or a decent question with a really simple answer I have yet to find)...my brand-spanking new Moodle install only has some of the Modules listed in the Modules Forum, how do I add things like Attendance, Book, Database, Dialogue, Excercise, Flash, Hotspot, Questionnaire, and WebQuest?

I'll keep looking around trying to figure this out, but if anyone can give me a shove in the right direction that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Stuart,

Non-standard modules may be downloaded from Download: Activity Modules.

AFAIK, Book and Questionnaire will become standard in the near future, Dialogue has been replaced with Messaging in Moodle 1.5, and Database will be included in Moodle 1.6. smile

Great, thanks.

I did find the newmodules.zip about making new one's yourself. Probably beyond me at the moment, but good to know for the future.  smile

Hi Stuart,

FYI, some modules are included in 1.5 but are disabled. The "HotPot" module is an example of such a module. You can enable/disable modules on the "Administrator -> Configuration -> Modules" page. This page also shows which version of which modules are installed.

all the best!
