Hi all 

On 2.6

Im wondering if there is a way to delete a graded item from the gradebook, but keep the item within the course?

The backstory is that we have a vendor provided LTI/external resource. The grade that is being posted to the gradebook is not the correct one, but the correct grade can be viewed by the teacher by viewing the actual resource on the course page. Barring a solution from the LTI provider we were hoping to delete the item from the gradebook and add a moodle offline assignment for the teacher to manually post the points. We also are not able to change the grade type to none, as this setting is greyed out/disabled. 

Hiding the item unfortunately is not a possibility for us because of how our student information management system works. 

Any ideas on deleting?

Is 2.65 available? If not, can you place the item in a separate category and hide the cat?

Hi all

We ended up doing a combinations of things to solve this--we were able to create a category, hid the category and give the category a value of zero for those items we didnt want in the total grade at all. I didnt solve all of our problems since it still appears in our student information system (external to Moodle) which causes some confusion. We created other categories and adjusted the value of the category relative to the course total to adjust scores from there.
