Course Completion - not marked

Course Completion - not marked

Hello,

I have setup activity completion for all activities, and Course completion for when all activities are marked as completed.

All activities are marked as complete but course completion remains unmarked.

- Cron is running at 1min interval (I also forced it manually to see if it made any difference)

- Moodle 2.7.1+ (Build: 20140821) Version 2014051201.08

Is there anything else I have to do for this to work?

I have also noticed that I can't do anything in the box " Condition: Completion of other courses"  It shows all my courses separated with a "/" and I can't seem to be able to un-select them.  What is the purpose of this dialogue box?  Is it not marking as complete because it's assuming that the student has to complete all other courses?

Thanks for your help.

Are you saying that inside this box all of your other courses have been selected? If this is the cast then yes, your students would need to complete them before this course could be completed. If they were added in error then they only way to remove them is to remove the completion requirements from the other courses - please see the section on completion of other courses in Course completion settings

Thanks Mary! 微笑

That did the trick, although I had to make a few more steps.

  1. Disable completion for both courses
  2. Run cron a few times (I always run it until it shows no actions left)
  3. Re-enable course where I wanted to delete condition
  4. Run cron again a few times and make sure it disappeared from that course.  Completion was being marked correctly now.
  5. Re-enable course completion in my other course.

All good now.

Although this workaround worked, I think this is an error in the interface right?  We should be able to remove courses without having to do all this.

Do you know if this has been reported?
