Hi,

I would like to change the text of the email that students receive when their marker has completed the marking of an assignment. We are using 2.6.2+ , and my searches fore help have been fruitless so far!

The text currently reads along the lines of;


[Tutor] has posted some feedback on your assignment submission for [Assignment name]

You can see it appended to your assignment submission.


Ideally we would like to both change the wording, and remove the link to assignment submission. I have changed the registration email text, but cannot find where to do this.

Hello Jeremy,

if you are referring to the 2.6 "mod_assign" or "mod_assignment" activity modules, I think the strings you need to change should be the following:

  • assignmentmail
  • assignmentmailhtml
  • assignmentmailsmall

The above strings are available in both "mod_assign" and "mod_assignment", you should edit the strings according to the module you are actually using.
