I have been using Camtasia for creating videos with chapter markers and uploading them into courses without a problem for a couple of years, but now (maybe because of version changes) I am getting an error message - Unable to locate the LMS's API Implementation. Communication with the LMS will not occur. I use Camtasia 8.4 and Moodle V. 2.4.1+
I have mastered them as always, using Custom Settings, MP4-HTML, Scorm 2004 version, zipped. I load them into a topic as a file, unzip it, make the html the main file. I then create a jpeg of the video, imbed that on my page and link the address of the video (once I open it in a new window) to the photo, so when a user click on the image, the video pops up in a new window.
Not, I get this error message and while you can click OK and the video will play, I'd like to eliminate getting the error message.
I spoke with Camtasia - they said use the 2004 version of scorm. No luck - Anyone have ideas?

Moodle does not do well with SCORM 2004. Try 1.2 and see if the error clears.

Last time I looked very little software did well with SCORM 2004, as Rob says try 1.2
