Hi

Currently I am using moodle 2.5.3 version, LDAP authentication configured in my moodle installation, ADS users are authenticated through LDAP, it is working well.

Right now we have a plan to configure SingleSIgnon to moodle  from our sharepoint , I read the document http://docs.moodle.org/24/en/NTLM_authentication  , I requires more clarity on  4.2APACHE Configuration.

My Question is

a. Already my users are authenticated through LDAP , so  simply enabling "NTLM SSO" in LDAP server settings is enough  for SingleSignon or any other module installation or any other configuration is to be done in  apache side  .

b. We have two moodle installation one is XAMPP in windows another is Linux based native installation(This is also LDAP authenticated) , any difference is there for enabling SSO in XAMPP environment and Linux environment.

Kindly help on this.

Is your XAMPP secure? I ask because it is designed to have security turned off by default.
