I am PHP developer who is completely new to moodle. For my university I want to develop a plugin for moodle that should provide a kind of quiz/game that is globally available for all students. Ideally the quizzes can be grouped in "rooms" (kind of courses) and will then be linked by the courses (one-to-many)
Is it possible/designated to copy/extend some of the course logic like enrolments et cetera and make a new navigation point where these courses are listed? This may be useful for the "room"-logic of my plugin.
Also, I have looked through the plugin types list (http://docs.moodle.org/dev/Plugins) and am now wondering if it is even possible to provide global content for students outside courses?
