Hey Everyone

I am working on upgrading my moodle to 2.6.2 from 2.5.5

I would like to remove all settings related to the essential theme in the moodle database, but cannot seem to find them - I am looking to wipe out all traces of the theme entirely.

Essential is a bootstrap theme

Any help would be appreciated

go to block Site administration -> Plugins -> PLugins overview

there you can uninstall the essential theme and delete it from your database

Michael, just removing the essential theme folder, will update the database

alternatively, you can go into Administration > Plug-Ins > Plug-ins Overview

and click Show add-ons only

it will list Essential theme there.

btw, why are you removing Essentials? i believe  it to be  MOST used theme on moodle now

Michael, you may have not noticed, the Essential version for Moodle 2.5 and 2.6 onwards are different. It  may have taken care of the php errors that you are mentioning.
