Hi guys & girls,
Just sharing for those that are interesting and not already aware that an interesting discussion is unfolding on MDL-44357.
What is being purposed there will likely form part of the landscape for themes in the upcoming 2.7 release.
Its not an issue that demands discussion (if you'd like to share your view as always you're encouraged to) but certainly have a read if you want to follow how themes may/will be evolving and some of the cool stuff that is happening at the moment.
