How to integrate Google analytics in Moodle

Hi,

I am trying to implement Google Analytics on my Moodle site but it shown me status 'Not yet installed'. 

I have Implemented Analytics on other Joomla and Wordpress site which is successfully installed.

Can anyone help me?

There is also a plugin (https://moodle.org/plugins/view.php?plugin=local_googleanalytics), but don't really see a need for it since all you need to do is add the tracking js code on the footer of each page.

The plugin does more than add the js. wink

The plugin enables a page based hierarchy so that you can do path based analysis in Google Analytics that you cannot get with the standard JS.

This way you can tackle user activity throughout an activity or resource, a course, or a category of courses and so on.

Very powerful option which is simply not possible without altering the path.
