Hi,
How do I create a site like Mary Evans awesome moodlestudio.co.uk. - I want a different layout but I need to dramatically change the way my moodle looks - I am using standard Splash now.
Should I make my own theme - I tried the clone of clean technique to no avail.
Please let me know what I need to do, or direct me to the links / tutorials to get me where I need to go.

Hi Jay,
It looks like Mary has adapted a template from http://html5up.net/ and there is no Moodle there at all. As far as I know, nobody has made a HTML5UP based Moodle theme upon which to learn by example how it can be done.
Beyond the clone a clean theme docs, there is the older http://docs.moodle.org/dev/Creating_a_theme guide which is a little out of date, but worth a look. Also look at http://docs.moodle.org/dev/Cloning_a_theme, http://docs.moodle.org/dev/Themes_overview and http://docs.moodle.org/dev/Overriding_a_renderer.
