I am using Version 1.9X of Moodle, so I understand if no support is available on this, but I would appreciate any help I can get.
On my gradebook, The option is set to consider only non-empty fields. If I set a quiz and set a deadline for completing it; however, I would like to have a grade of zero (0) entered for anyone who did not complete the quiz. other than editing it at the gradebook level, which I´ve been advised for years, not to do, I do not see a way to assign a zero for these grades; therefore, a student can improve his average, by simply not completing the assignment.
Is there a way to change this?
