Hi!!!
We have just relased a internalmail version completelly reprogrammed for
moodle 1.5
The look & feed of the internalmail screens resembles more the moodle one.
Internalmail now is integrated with the messaging module. It provides an inbox for the messages reveived via messaging. The contact list is shared with the messaging module.
Like in the old internalmail enables course context mailboxes... when you work within a course the contact list matches the used of the course,
Please, we know that a lot of things can be improved so we need your suggestions and feedback... You can post suggestions and bug reports here or in tha wiki enabled to this purpose in our home page.
The module is ready to be downloaded in the internalmail home page.

How do you install this new version of InternalMail? I have tried to look for documentation but I cannot find it. I apologize if I am blind.

Hi,
the bugs detected in internalmail are solved, the new version ready to download from the internalmail home page.
To install, just copy the files onto your moodle directory.
Then you have to add the internalmail activity ( and have enabled the messaging module ). We'll have soon a admin guide when this version is stable enough ( maybe nex week wink

I've been out for four days, sorry for the delay.
As this thread announces, IM2 is in alpha stage, so bugs are expected.
We are very gratefull for all the feedback you can give us to make this work out.
If you have to submit bugs or feature requests, you can place it here or in the
internalmailhome page wiki.

Hi,

your internalmail mail is gettin better and better cool
To help you improve it, i found a bug: You can't delete mails. Hope you fix this in your final version.
