We are using Moodle as a virtual collaboration environment for an european research project, where we have one course for each subproject. In the courses we have several forums and chat rooms, and here sometimes I have the need to move a topic from one course to another. I know that it is possible to move a topic to another forum within the course, but is there a way to do it to a forum in another course, or do we have to mingle with the database?

Hi Ian,
You could try backing up the forum in one course then restoring it in another. You should then be able to move individual discussion topics into another forum.
