Thanks Peter, good that you have a test installation to check whether the bug is fixed in 2.5.
Our Moodle demo sites, such as the Moodle sandbox, which use the latest stable version of Moodle, can often be used for checking whether a bug is fixed, though not in this case, as email is disabled on the sites for spam prevention reasons.
