(One outdated) offline Moodle-Docs in several languages

Hi,

I saw in http://docs.moodle.org/26/en/Moodle_documentation_FAQ about the possibility of having an offline copy of Moodle Docs. I think this could be useful in places with slow or no internet access.

But the page at http://wimski.org/docs/ has the following Moodle Docs versions:

English (246 MB) from 4 days ago 笑顔

Spanish, from 325 days ago 悲しい

Basque, from 12 hours ago 笑顔

French, from 5 days ago 笑顔

Japanese from 2 days ago 笑顔

Can anyone please, contact Antonio Vicent or Eloy Lafuente (stronk7) and ask them if they can please update the spanish documentation file  of 325 days ago ?

Hi German,

with latest changes to the docs, with some of them having versions (23, 24, 25...) ... others having "all" in the URLs.. I bet all those offline packages are not working properly any more.

1-year ago I started some tests with the Spanish one (and that's the cause it's not refreshed since then), coz I was unable to get it working (collecting the correct pages).

I'll give it a try along next days and will post here any news (positive or negative).

Hi again,

I've just updated (regenerated from scratch) the new Spanish offline docs package. I've named it "Español (Spanish) (all)" and it's available @  http://wimski.org/docs/.

Please, try it and tell me how it's looking. Note that, surely, it won't work ok with old (IE mainly) browsers, but it shouldn't have any problem with Safari/Chrome/Firefox. If it seems to be acceptable... I'll proceed to upgrade all the other packages to the newer alternatives.

 I bow to you.  You are great, and fast, and efficient, and helpful.

I will try this file at my University server this weekend and report back here soon.

I hope this will be specially helpful for http://docs.moodle.org/all/es/Moodle_en_una_netbook_sin_internet , which is used in some schools that lack the funds for a fast internet access.
