Hi!!!
In two days or so, we are shipping the new internalmail module...
completelly refactored.
Key new issues :
- New look and feel ( just like dfwiki ) using of blocks , tabs and other stuff
- Completelly recoded (now that we know more about moodle)
- Developed for moodle 1.5
and last but not least!!!
Integrated with messaging .... Now Internalmail uses the contact list of moodle 1.5 messaging, and when you send an internalmail message to a user online then a instant message is sent to the user with the n first lines of the internalmail message and a link to it.

We already liked the previous version of this module very much!!. Although you could send also an email as copy, I renamend the previous version to it's main function:
internal memo
(the main function of this version is also... so..)

This looks sweet!
As it is more intergrated with messaging it would be nice in the future if internal mail read messaging messages to compensate for the lack of a messaging inbox IYSWIM

Basically a list of messages (indicating read and unread). At the moment messages can only be accessed via a contact name or a search.

Just a question. When alumn/teacher create a internalmail in moodle. It is posible to create it by each course or there is just one by every course?

The current verson of IM must be enabled in the whole site and on each course... in addition the teacher of each course must enable the IM malbox (because not all courses require separete mailboxes...) Right now all students enrolled must be added to the IM users list in the main course and in each course by IM administrators... this will disapear and all users will have automatically access to IM if IM is enabled...
