Hi, 

I'm having trouble with locking a course after completion. I wonder if someone could help?!

In the course settings of the scorm activity, I have the Attempts set at 6. The problem I have is that every time a user is taking the course, stopping and then coming back to it half-way through, it's counting that as another attempt. So, if he goes through the entire course in 3 parts and then passes, his number of attempts is 3, with 3 remaining, but he has completed the course. 

I also have the Lock after final attempt set at Yes, but this only locks the course after attempt number 6. What I want to do is lock the course after Course Completion is satisfied, regardless of how many attempts the user has taken to complete it the first (and only) time....i.e., I could set the attempts to unlimited and when the user has completed the course, it is then locked. 

Is this possible in Moodle? If so, where do I set this?!

Hi Amit, Not quite. That discussion led me here: http://docs.moodle.org/24/en/Conditional_activities_settings

Which I can see works but only to restrict access before the course based on certain conditions, not after completion based on certain conditions. It does mention:

"Generally access is prevented before the conditions are met, however if 'Allow access until' is enabled, then access is prevented after the specified date."

...however I don't want the restriction on the course placed by date, I want it locked once the user has completed the course. 

Is there a way to do this? Sorry if I'm being a bit dumb....
