Please help before I go insane.

Hi,

I hope someone can help, before I go completely mental. I'm trying to add an activity to a Scorm course - specifically the Simple Certificate plugin.

I've managed to find this thread: http://docs.moodle.org/22/en/Add_Activity_To_Course

...which doesn't help me in the slightest because it says "Go to the topic / week where you would like the activity" which as far as I can see doesn't exist in a Scorm course (and yes, editing is turned on)

All I want to do is find the "add an Activity" pulldown menu, within my Scorm Course so I can add the certificate and 2 hours later, here I am, hairless and asking for your help...

...which would me much appreciated.

Hugh!

I wouldn't have set it up as a scorm course in the first place. Just an ordinary topics course then add the SCORM activity and any other activities you need. I don't think many people use the scorm course format. I'm pretty sure you can still change it in the settings without damaging anything.

HI Howard.

Yes that works, thank you. I guess it's a bit misleading to a newbie like me, who thought I needed to choose a scorm course for a scorm course - but yep, that now works fine and now that I know, it seems you can do so much more with a topics course. 微笑

Moodle is wonderful if not confusing!!! 微笑

As a follow up, an interesting point for those interested. Moodle 2.6 has now done away with the Scorm Format course it seems and now you have to add in a Scorm Activity into a course. This is a much clearer and more intuitive way to do it, so good form whoever thought of doing that. 微笑
