I am disallowing the following setting
"Always see Q and A posts mod/forum:viewqandawithoutposting"
but still the reply visible to all the students who are not posting the reply,
is the any another setting for hiding the student reply for another student who are not posting the reply?

By default a Q and A forum requires students to post once before viewing other students' postings.
but in my website ,the post will be visible to all the students who are not posting, and also I am disallowing the following setting
"Always see Q and A posts mod/forum:viewqandawithoutposting"
But still the post will be visible. what are the reason behind that.

Have you taken a look at these documents?
Forgive me if I insist .. unfortunately I do not know so well the English language but from what I understood .. I would suggest the tool "glossary" set to "FAQ" (basically Q & A), this activity is also evaluated.
