Both bad and good selfesteem is in a way constructed in your own brain as a combination of thinking and feeling.

I am working with adult disabled people, who want to be active in the society as working people i.e. feeling needed and respected as equal human beeings, and I have realized that selfesteem is the foundation stone of building up the possibility of making your ability in work useful.

But within themselves and in the society as well the word "disabled" signalize the first brickstone to the the construction of a bad or low selfesteem if you are disabled or handicapped..

Does some of the readers af this know about exemples of computergames or e-learning programs designed to build up a proces in which you learn to believe in your own ability.

Or would any of you - together with me - like to develop such a program or learning system. Key words in my very first thinking about this problem is: cognitive therapy, social constructionism and psykological test with multiple choice questions.

If some of you are interested please answer here, and I wil later on create a room for those who want to join in.

We have just installed moodle for both content mgt and course mgt. We intend to run course on Wellness Recovery Action Planning and other Mental Helath topics and was very interested to see your post. I do not know of any such e-learning programs but we are interested in this topic.  People with this order show low self esteem. It is a great idea to develop such a course.
