That second paragraph outlining ways instructors can designate who sees what would be really, really great. Looking forward to seeing how it develops. In the meantime, though, I confess I'm not completely understanding default permissions for, say, setting indexing and messaging options. I do not want course participants (students) to be able to see the index and messaging options, and when I go to turn that off, it looks as if it is already "not set" for students. Prohibiting it doesn't seem to matter, either. See pic. Is there a way to turn those two options off somewhere that I'm missing?
