Hi Andrea,Thank you for your reply. I know that guests have read-only access, but I kinda figured that you would be able to change that. I'm assuming that activities like forums or quizzes need distinct instances of participants to differenciate between users, so that may be why it is not working.
I would be happy to update to a new version of Moodle, but when I try to do so, I get an installation error probably due to my hosting service. Stay away from Fat Cow. Worst web hosting service ever. Super glitchy.
