Hello all,

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but is there not an obvious bug in the function groups_get_grouping_members?

As far as I can tell mdl_groupings_groups is just some groups grouped together. And so if a user happens to be in more than one group that is grouped together, this query won't have a unique key.

I found an old moodle tracker about this but it doesn't seem to have been resolved. https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-30475

Is it a bug?

Hi Michael,

Yes, that does look rather like a bug and may not be an easy one to resolve.

I've raised MDL-41661 to look at this.
