If I have a quiz already created, is it possible to provide a link to it within a chapter of a book in the same course? Any help would be much appreciated.
There are 2 ways you might go about doing this.
1. Open the quiz and copy the URL from the browser's address bar. Go to your book and add it as a link on the page you want. (Select some text and choose the 'insert/edit link' button, paste the URL there.)
2. If "Activity names auto-linking" has been enabled on the site, you can just type in the name of the Activity (e.g. Quiz #1) and it will automatically link. You may also have to turn on auto-linking in the course and in the activity itself (under filters in the settings block). http://docs.moodle.org/24/en/Autolinking
Hello, I have enabled auto-linking but it's not working. Do you name the book chapter the name of the quiz or do you create a link to it?

To use autolinking, type the exact name of the Quiz activity somewhere in the body (not the title) of a chapter.
