Red X for Images

Red X for Images

I've tried to review the various posts on the dreaded red x but I can't seem to figure it out.

When I've uploaded my personal picture for my profile, I get the red x. When I upload a graphic for that i was inserting into the text on my front page, I get the red x.

Any suggestions? I loaded Moodle about a week ago...

Look in the source of the page to find the URL of the image and look at it directly in your browser.

eg http://moodle.org/user/pix.php/47072/f1.jpg

In firefox you can just right click on the broken image icon and select "View this image".

What you see should give you a clue. Usually it's blank lines in the config.php, or the wrong setting for slasharguments.
