I don't know much about PHP or coding, but have inherited maintenance of some of our Moodle site. Crash-course! I am trying to superscript our register mark next to the name that is printed on our student certificates. Clearly <sup></sup> didn't work. The code just showed up on the certificate. Any suggestions?

P.S. Opening up certificate.php in notepad shows the mark as superscripted already, but doesn't appear that way on the certificates.
