Hi, I'm trying to create a site-wide file repository. I've followed the instructions in creating the 'repository\RepoName' folders in moodledata and enabling the repository module in Moodle.

At this point the instructions state that I should open the Settings page for the plugin and I should see a button allowing me to create an instance. But this button is nowhere to be seen. I only have an option to change the name of the plugin.

Note : all other repository plugins show the same Settings page.

Note : this is a 2.4.3 installation which has been upgraded from 2.2

Hi Jerome,

can't speak for sure, however very often problem encountered when trying to add a folder as a repo are related to file system permissions. You may want to check if your web server process has correct access to the created folder.

You could also try to create manually one or more folder inside the repository parent folder, with permissions correctly set, and see if that helps solving your problem.

Salut Jérôme. Tu ne regardes pas dans le bon endroit - il faut "système de fichiers" et non pas "fichiers serveur".

Hello there. You are looking at server files and you should be looking at File system repository, lower down the list.
