Thanks Gideon, those links are very useful.

You'll be pleased to hear that the Open Badges feature has just made it into Moodle 2.5 笑顔 and I've created a new forum in this course - Open Badges - for discussing their use. I'm just going to move this thread there then people can find it easily...
