Are you saying that Moodle does not intend to have students "rate" each other's posts in a forum, such that those ratings could contribute to the student's grade?
My plan for a forum is for students to add a discussion post and then to reply to one another. They also rate each others posts and replies.
I have allowed forums to be rated.
For now I have elvated student's local role to non-editing teacher. This is the only option, then?
