George, that sounds like a very good possibility. What are you creating the text file in?

Offline grading is just not something I do. I like the new scoring rubric and marking guides too much. Lately, I have been trying to grade in realtime, while students work at their own pace. I break assignments into small chunks, and as soon as they finish one, they come up to my desk and I grade it with them watching. The only thing that makes this practical is that my largest class only has 12 students in it. big grin

I have also recently added the Moodlerooms Checklist grading method. For some assignments in which students make things, such as a drawing, a checklist will be really handy. I especially like the way you can categorize items into different groups.
