Kind of obvious, still I thought I'd share: The "wrong Internet" (see attachment) took me to
https://twitter.com/search/realtime?q=%23moodleorg, where it was completely silent. A dot as in https://twitter.com/search/realtime?q=%23moodle.org made a big difference.
I'm not sure whether that is by design. ???

Yes, also seen this some days ago.
Good that you talk about it. Would still be better to create a tracker request
I totally fail to see the point of Twitter anyway.

Agree. The "wrong Internet" is funny enough.
But these things are not designed for you and me.
Anyway, if we were to listen to Tweets, I fail to recognize that https://twitter.com/search/realtime?q=%23moodle and https://twitter.com/search/realtime?q=%23moodle.org are supposed to be the same.

Actually, the tag #moodleorg is by design. As far as I know it was Martin who changed it from #moodle.org when he realised a dot (.) in a tag isn't recognised by twitter i.e. searching for #moodle.org returns the results of a #moodle search.
https://twitter.com/search/realtime?q=%23moodleorg currently has no results because moodle.org hasn't been down for a longer period for a while. Hopefully it will stay that way!
