if you're interested in connecting your Moodle with a CMIS 1.0 compliant server, please checkout the CMIS repository plug-in at https://github.com/scara/moodle-repository_cmis.
This version (0.1-2013030302) is a POC about exploring CMIS capabilities and it gets benefits from MUC too.
Spare time permitted, it will be tested at least with Microsoft Sharepoint 2013 to cleanup the code (discovering what is the common set of properties w/o checking the server capabilities too much). More details in the README file.
