Is the current version (we have installed) 2018080400 compatible with Moodle 3.5? (sorry that's 3.5)

There is a different build for Moodle 3.5 same version but different build

2.2.8 (2018080400) Moodle 3.3

2.2.8 (2018082000) Moodle 3.5

Want to check, would we upgrade Moodle first, then update Simple certificate to suit the Moodle build, without losing anything?
