i've somehow managed to screw up my datadir and while I thought there was a copy, turns out there isn't. Uh oh! The database is ok.
so now when I go to edit things, like my front page, I get stuff like:
Can not read file, either file does not exist or there are permission problems

but I have course backup files - the mbz's. They are backing up on schedule, so that's something! Yay.
Just trying to restore the backup of the front page. Except you can't restore backups over the front page, because ... ? why?
Basically I'm looking for a way to get my front page files back out of the backup and into the filedir crazy folder system again. Any ideas? There's probably a really obvious way that I haven't seen!
