According to one of the Safari engineers, Safari 1.3 (just released as part of the 10.3.9 update) supports contenteditable, as well as numerous other new goodies.

I hope this spells good news in terms of getting the HTML Editor working with Safari. smile

Is anyone working on this? A query of the bug tracking system for "Safari WYSIWYG" returned no results so I added it as a feature request.

I'd also like to point out that embedded media files do not function correctly in Safari unless I have opened them first in Firefox.

Also, windows media files do not function unless I download them first.
