A non-qualified task appears in the qualifying chart

A non-qualified task appears in the qualifying chart

I use Moodle for teaching biochemistry in the university of Girona. I sometimes create a task for my students to upload files but I don't want to qualify them. The fact is these tasks will appear anyway in the qualifying chart, even though they don't have any qualification.

In my opinion, only tasks with a qualification should appear on the chart. At least, moodle should give the teacher the option of erase the task from the chart (without eliminating the task itself, which is the only solution at the moment).

What do you think? Did anybody else have also this problem?

Thanks!

Hi Silvia,

When you say you don't want to 'qualify' your students, I'm assuming you don't want to grade them, right? If so, in the assignment settings you can set the grade to 'No grade'. Another option is to hide the assignment grade item in the gradebook.
