For sure. I wanted to do this for a long time and had always wondered how. In fact, some of it is Moodle documentation for Worskop (thanks to those who may have updated the descriptions recently). Here are the steps:

  1. Go to the landing page of a course
  2. Click on Grades/Scales
  3. Click on Add a new scale
  4. Enter the name of the scame (I called it Five-Scale Likert)
  5. In the Scale box entered: Poor,Fair,Good,Great,Exceptional
  6. It is important that this be from lowest grade to the highest
  7. Save changes
  8. Then when setting up a Workshop and creating the assessment forms, this new scale is available in the drop down list. This will greatly improve the meaningfulness of peer evaluations in my case (numbers from 0-100 can be very hard to pick from, as reported by students)
  9. Tested it twice with varrying values, the regression test seems to produce the correct results.
  10. While I am at it, I want to thank all those (developers and reviewers) who have helped the Workshop modules mature. After automatic change is intruducted as an option, it will shine even more.
