I just let you know that I have converted covert into a three layout theme for courses pages only (that is what suits us, but it is easy to enable the region-post section in all the pages).
The solution is 99% perfect (I am working in the 1% of perfection, which is caused by background images, which were designed for a two layout theme).
I am happy to share my CSS files with whoever wants theme.
