I use Captivate 6 and have created a 3 hour course which is comprised of 8 sessions, every student must complete all of them in order presented and take the same quizzes and final test.
Each "lesson" is uploaded as it's own ZIP file to get it to Moodle. There is a quiz at the end of each lesson and a final test at the end of session 8. All quizzes and tests are done completely within Captiavate.
The entire e-learning course is about 3 hours in length and very large. It is impossible to combine all the lessons together into 1 course. Even if I could, a student would have to load the entire thing in order to take the course which causes all kinds of bandwidth issues.
I need to connect lesson 1 to lesson 2,3,4,5 etc... so it flows for the student and they smoothly transition from lesson 1 to lesson 8 and complete the course.
Is there something I need to do on the last slide of each lesson in order to make it activate the next lesson so it is a smooth workflow for every student. These are NOT regular moodle users so need this to be a seemless, simple and easy course to take.
The Weekly, topic format makes absolutely no sense to any user and confuses more people than it helps. Are there alternatives that work for the type of scenario I'm using it in.
Should I be using Moodle? Is there a way to link 8 lessons together as one course and have scorm grading / reporting work smoothly.
Thanks for any help!
