Hello,
We have a teacher who is using the Forum tool to have her students discuss books they've read. They have to post their original discussion topic and respond to their classmates. When they are finished with that particular book she would like to be able to stop the kids from contributing to the forum but still have them refer to the discussion. Is there a way to do that?

Ok so maybe I am doing something wrong. I followed the directions in the FAQ #11. I can't seem to figure out how to x out the permissions. I can see where the students are allowed to post, but how do I change that?

Which version of Moodle are you using?
I think I'm using Moodle. 2.1.
