Can't rearrange course topics 2.3.1

Something is not working right. I can't keep the topics in the correct order after I rerrange them and refresh the page the topics have moved.

I have manually entered topics in the right order and it still doesn't work. Is this a bug?

Hi Ian. Yes it is -there is currently a bug with moving topics by dragging/dropping -MDL-34209  but in the meantime if  you disable ajax in your webbrowser and then move them - and then re-enable it - you should be able to get your topics to where you want them

Mary, checkout the Profile switches local plugin for turning ajax on/off. smile

thanks for your suggestions - this worded a treat.  I am knew to moodle and trying to learn all the tricks to get my course set up.
