inserting a new topic

I have a couree with 10 lessons in it and I want to inset a new topic to make the course 11 topics long.  I want hte new topic to go in at the top in position 1.

Is there any way I can drop a topic in there rather than having to move all the topics down 1 which will take a long time.

If you try Audun's layout editor, you can drag the new section from the bottom to the top (among other things).

This is a really basic question, I am unsure i ma doing the correct thing in getting ths file onto my system.

I ave downloaded it onto my Pc and am then attempting to get the file in Moodles by restoring it (as I would restore a back up version of a course).

I am not sure if this is the right ting to be doing as I got an error when i tried.

Course restore: layout.zip

  • Creating temporary structures
  • Deleting old data
  • Copying zip file
  • Unzipping backup
  • Checking backup

    Error checking backup file. Invalid or corrupted.


An error has ocurred
